Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) sets out our privacy practices and explains how Katalyst LLC, d/b/a “Katalyst”, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and brands (together, “Katalyst”) collect, use, manage and share your personal information. In this Policy, “we,” “us” and “our” refers collectively to Katalyst.

Your access to the Katalyst website at www.katalystllc.net and affiliated sites (“Sites”) is governed by our Terms of Use (“Terms”). In the event of a conflict between this Policy and the Terms, the latter will govern.

This Policy contains separate components with various rights and obligations – and it may apply to you differently depending on factors such as where you are located or where you reside. The Policy applies without limits to any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Katalyst website or otherwise provides any personal information to Katalyst. Each time you access and use the Katalyst website, you represent and warrant that you are over eighteen (18) years old, and that you have the right, authority, and capacity to agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not, or cannot, agree to these terms, you are not permitted to access the Katalyst website.

You may have certain rights over your personal information depending on the jurisdiction you are in. Such rights may include the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, the right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, the right to data portability, the right to limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal information, and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights. 


Katalyst reserves the right to change this Policy from time to time at its sole and absolute discretion. In the event we do make any modifications, we may take reasonable steps to notify you of the changes. For example, notification may be made by including the effective date of a new privacy policy alongside its posting. If you do not agree to this version of the Policy or if in the future you object to modifications, your only recourse is to immediately stop accessing the Katalyst website and to cease all interactions which provide us with information. Your continued access and use of the website, indicates your acknowledgement, agreement, and intention to be bound to this and (if applicable) any future Policy.

For the purposes of this Policy, personal information does not include: 


  • Publicly available information from government records.
  • Deidentified or aggregated consumer information.
  • Information excluded from the California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA).
  • Personal information covered by certain sector-specific privacy laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FRCA), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), the California Financial Information Privacy Act (FIPA), and the Driver's Privacy Protection Act of 1994.


2.  Information We Collect  Katalyst may collect any of the following personal information as follows:


  • Personal or Business Information: Or “PI”, includes names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, social media handles or username(s), account information, passwords, date of birth, and any other content or information that you provide us via messages, emails, telephone, or video call(s), or via the Sites or to evaluate and explore potential business relationships.
  • Payment Information: We may also collect banking, credit card and/or debit card information for transaction and billing purposes which includes cardholder transaction data and other information from your card such as account numbers, card number(s) and expiration date, CVV codes, the billing address to which you register the payment information, etc.
  • Interactive Features: From time to time, we may invite you to participate in a survey, fill out a questionnaire or help us by giving us feedback and input on a new product or feature. We and others may collect and use the information you provide us, or we collect through these interactive features. This Policy does not apply to information you provide to us in a manner that is “public” – meaning it can be seen or accessed by third parties.
  • Job Applicants: Any information you provide to us in reply to a job posting or application, whether posted on our Sites or a third-party site on behalf of Katalyst.
  • Technical Data and Information: We may collect information that is tied to you as a user (i.e. – mobile service or internet service provider), location information (i.e. – GPS location, actual or derived IP address, MAC ID or UDID) and information collected from your or your vendor servers (i.e. – http headers, operating system, language settings) and information on your internet browsing history and the way(s) in which you interact with your Sites.
  • Small text files called “cookies” which are placed on your computer, single pixel GIF image files called “web beacons” and other technological means including pixels with unique identifiers placed on our Sites or in our HTML-based email newsletters. Katalyst uses cookies and similar technologies to personalize content, provide social media features, analyze our traffic, and improve our services.   • Other: We also collect information that is anonymous and/or cannot be tied back to you because it has been collected in the aggregate.


3.  How Katalyst Uses Your Information  


We use the information we collect for a variety of purposes including but not limited to:


  • Providing and managing our services;
  • Responding to your inquiries and communications;
  • Sending administrative information, such as updates and security alerts;
  • Personalizing your experience on our website;
  • Conducting research and analysis to improve our services;
  • As necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property or safety of us, our clients or others;
  • To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts between you and us, including for billing and collections;

  • Adding your contact information to our databases to receive emails, newsletters, mail or SMS Messages regarding our services.

Katalyst may share your information with 


  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, data analysis, and customer service.
  • Affiliates: Our affiliates for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.
  • Legal Requirements: If required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business.


This Policy does not apply to information, content, business information, concepts or inventions that you share with us via email or via telephone. When we use third parties to collect, analyze or process any of your personal information, we typically demand their compliance with this Policy and other appropriate confidentiality provisions – however, you understand and agree that Katalyst does not make any representations or warranties that such third parties will comply.  

Katalyst may use third party network advertisers and/or services that measure and provide us with data about our website traffic or other software as a service (“SaaS”) and because they are not part of Katalyst, such third parties have their own terms of use and privacy policies. You understand and agree that we have no control over, and that Katalyst makes no representations or warranties regarding the information and data handling practices of such third-parties.  

5.  Data Security  

Katalyst implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure and we cannot make any such guarantees.   

6. Your Choices and Rights  

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as accessing, correcting, or deleting your data. To exercise these rights, please contact us at info@katalystllc.net.We may provide your Personal Information to our affiliates and to firms that assist us in servicing your account and have a need for such information. Such affiliates and firms we will share your Personal Information with include, but are not limited to:


  • Katalyst, for the purposes set out in this Policy, which include: 
    • managing our relationship with you;
    • delivering the services you require;
    • managing your investment;
    • supporting and administering services-related activities;
    • complying with applicable laws and regulations;
    • delivering and facilitating the services needed to support our business relationship with you; and
    • supporting and administering investment-related activities. 
  • The tax authorities, to comply with applicable laws and regulations; and where required by tax authorities (who, in turn, may share your personal data with other tax authorities),

In exceptional circumstances, we will share your Personal Information with regulatory, prosecutorial and other governmental agencies or departments, and parties to litigation (whether pending or threatened) in any country or territory, as and to the extent required by law.
We will only process your personal data in pursuit of our legitimate interests where we have considered that the processing is necessary and, on balance, our legitimate interests are not overridden by your legitimate interests, rights or freedoms.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such sites.

  • Children’s Online Privacy: By interacting with our Sites you represent and warrant that you are over eighteen (18) years old, and that you have the right, authority, and capacity to agree to be bound by this Policy. In accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect or retain information from minors under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly use any such information for marketing or advertising purposes whether directly or indirectly. If you are under 13 years of age, we ask that you do not submit any personal information to us.
  • Non-US Users: Our Sites and Services are not intended or directed to EU Users. If you are not based in the United States (“US”), please be noticed that the information we may collect about you is and will be subject to US laws (except for applicable mandatory provisions) and that such laws may be different and provide different protections than the laws of your home country. By using our website, you consent to the transfer of your personal data to the United States and the processing of that data as described in this Policy.


9.  Changes to This Privacy Policy

Katalyst may update this Policy from time to time. In the event the Policy is update, the updated version will be indicated by an updated 'Effective Date' and will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
